Manhattan home prices rise in March 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in Manhattan rose by $26,750 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $296,750 - a 9.9% increase over the $270,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Manhattan in March 2017.

The median sales tax in Manhattan for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,264.40, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for March 2018.
