Homer Glen home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Homer Glen rose by $16,869 while total sales decreased by 11.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $262,000 - a 6.9% increase over the $245,131 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Homer Glen in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Homer Glen for 2017 was $7,411.39. In 2016, the median sales tax was $7,221.30. This marks an increase of 2.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
