state representative candidate Alyssia Benford returns $200 contribution from Labranche Family Foundation

The campaign committee of state representative candidate Alyssia Benford, Citizens For Benford, returned a $200 contribution from Labranche Family Foundation on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Labranche Family Foundation has not made any other contributions to Alyssia Benford in the past 12 months.
