Report: Crete Monee spent $13,423 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Crete Monee Community Unit School District 201U is up 15.3 percent from five years ago, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Will County school district spent $11,637 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,423 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 4872 to 4893.

Crete Monee's spending in 2017-18 was 0.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
