The City of Joliet Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 19.
Snowfall intensities have picked up over the last couple hours as accumulations have reached 2” so far. Expectations are for the snow to continue for an additional 5 hours before tapering off, which is approximately 10 AM. Crews remain focused on maintaining the main routes throughout the City at this time. Thank you again for your continued patience throughout this event.
