The City of Joliet Fire Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 1.
As you say goodbye to 2018 tonight, remember to arrange in advance a sober ride home. The Illinois State Police and nearly 200 local police departments will have an increased presence on Illinois roads through Jan. 2.
A transit/cab/ride-share is a lot less expensive than a DUI. #HappyNewYear
