State House race: Democrat Freeman wins voter tally in Troy Township Precinct 1

Mica Freeman led Republican Mark Batinick in votes cast in Troy Township Precinct 1 for the District 97 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Freeman appeared to outpace Batinick by a margin of 31.9 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
