Channahon Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 4.
IDOT Maintenance Patching Contract
IDOT maintenance patching contract is expected to begin September 10, 2018, for various locations on I-55 from the Des Plaines River to Weber Road and on I-80 from the Will/Kendall County Line to the Des Plaines River. The majority of the work will take place overnight. No daytime lane closures anticipated.
