The Assyrian American National Republican Coalition have put their support behind Alyssia Benford for Illinois state Representative in District 98.
“We are encouraging that all Assyrians and Illinoisans to go out and vote on November 6, 2018 [sic],” the group posted on Facebook.
Attorney General candidate Erika Harold also offered support by joining Benford in visiting voters in the 98th House District on Aug, 4. Benford posted her appreciation on her Facebook Page.

“Thank you Erika Harold for coming out and walking the 98th District with me today.” Benford wrote. “It was hot but we made it.”
Benford, who is running against incumbent Rep. Natalie Manley (D-Joliet), has made fiscal responsibility, youth education and tax reform central to her campaign. She has four children and three grandchildren.
The 98th District includes all or parts of Bolingbrook, Crest Hill, Crystal Lawns and Joliet.
