CITY OF JOLIET: Millsdale Road Closure Beginning Monday, August 6

City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Aug. 2.

Millsdale Road west of the Union Pacific railroad crossing, will be fully closed to traffic starting on Monday, August 6 until Friday, September 7. A detour will be posted utilizing Brandon Road, Schweitzer Road and IL Route 53.

A portion of Millsdale Road will be reconstructed with new concrete pavement for a semi-truck turnaround. This project is being funded by CenterPoint Properties.
