Graduates earn 1,012 degrees, certificates from University of St Francis

About 39.1 percent of the 1,012 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of St Francis in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Joliet conferred 210 master's degrees and 171 bachelor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Data shows the school gave out 129 master's degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, followed by 108 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and 88 master's degrees in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.

The university enrolled 3,864 students for 2016-17, including 1,620 in undergraduate programs and 2,244 in graduate programs.
