City of Joliet Will-Joliet Bicentennial Park Board issued the following announcement on May 3.
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will be completing a resurfacing project on McDonough Street (US Route 52) from Raynor Avenue to the DesPlaines River beginning Monday, May 7, 2018. Traffic may be reduced to one lane in alternating directions during construction activities. The road will be fully open during non-working hours. It is expected that the work will be completed by August 2018.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution and seek alternate routes when traveling in the area. For additional information contact the City of Joliet Department of Public Works at 815-724-4200.
