Manhattan Park District Board met Feb. 8.

President Bridget Forsythe called the meeting order at 7:01 p.m.

1. Presidents Report:
President Forsythe congratulated Director Kelly for coming on board. President Forsythe updated the board on items discussed at the annual IPRA/IAPD Conference in January including the potential impact of comments on social media being considered a quorum. President Forsythe asked that everyone be attentive to their social media comments.
2. Directors Report:
Director Kelly updated the board on his first week with the district, current special events and current happenings in the organization. Included was the dates and times for upcoming Legislative Breakfast’s, Village of Address and items for next meeting to be on the agenda including; IGA with Dist. 114 , Cash Farm Lease and a request for Executive Session at the March meeting.
