Analysis: Frankfort pays $3.29 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Frankfort Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 76.5 percent of the $1,093,128 the Frankfort Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.29 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Frankfort contributed $836,569 to the fund, which saw a $90,421 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $253,766, or 23.2 percent, in 2016. Another $2,793 came from other unspecified sources.
