Plainfield North's Ekowa has one touchdown pass in Minnesota St. Mavericks football loss

Plainfield North graduate JD Ekowa had 55 passing yards, one touchdown pass, nine pass attempts, five completions, 16 rushing yards and one rush attempt in Minnesota St. Mavericks football's 35-7 loss Aug. 31 to the Mary Marauders.

Ekowa is a 6-1, 205 pound freshman quarterback from Plainfield.

Up next: Minnesota St. Mavericks football plays hosts Minn.-Crookston Golden Eagles football on Sept. 9.
