On Monday, March 24, former Example Academy standout Mia Zenere’s current collegiate team the Illinois Fighting Illini lost 65-48 against the Texas Longhorns in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Moody Center, this was the first game against the Texas Longhorns during the championship.

Mia Zenere’s hometown is Mokena and game position is guard.
