Will County Republicans offer full fall lineups of events

It's all about meeting, greeting and eating for the Will County Republican Central Committee this autumn.

Chairperson Kathy Havel will host a gathering with the Plainfield Republicans at the American Legion Pavilion, Marne Post #13, 24741 W. Renwick Road, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 16. Attendees will be able to rub shoulders with U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren (R-IL), Rep. Mark Batinick (R-Plainfield), and local politicians like county board members Tim Kraulidis, Darren Bennefield and Gretchen Fritz, as well as Nick Stella, who is running for Congress.

Mokena Village President Frank Fleisher will host a fundraiser from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 17 at Mr. Benny’s Steak & Lobster, 19200 Everett Lane, Mokena. Cost is $40 per person. Beer, wine and hours d'oeuvres will be served.

Tom Toolis, a candidate for the 80th House District, will host a campaign kick-off event at Aurelio's Pizza, 9901 W. Lincoln Highway, in Frankfort, starting at 6 p.m. on Oct. 18. Tickets are $100 in advance and $125 at the door.

Laurie McPhillips will hold a kick-off fundraiser for her run for county clerk at the Jacob Henry Mansion at 5 p.m. on Oct. 26.

In addition, the Illinois Family Institute will put on its fall banquet with retired Lt. Col. Allen West at The Stonegate in Hoffman Estates on Oct. 27. Tickets are available on the Illinois Family Institute’s website.

In November, the Will County Republicans will host their 2017 Lincoln-Reagan Fall Reception at Juliet’s in Downtown Joliet.
