The calls in Channahon included 29 fires - 10 structure fires, eight vehicle fires and 10 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $320,600 in fire loss - or about $11,055 per fire.
The department also received 89 false calls.
One fire service member was injured in fire-related incidents.
The Channahon FPD Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has 14 active employees and two retired or inactive employees, was $65,317 positive as of December 2015, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $2,252 for every fire in 2016.
