Wheatland area residents are invited to join the Wheatland Township Republican Organization (WTRO) for its 21st annual golf outing on Aug. 25 at the Tamarack Golf Club in Naperville, according to a press release.
The event will include a full day of golf, with prizes for the longest drive and closest shot to the pin, concluding with cocktails and dinner. WIND AM 560 radio host Dan Proft will deliver the keynote address.

Tickets can be purchased on the WTRO website. Fees are $125 per golfer or $50 for those who want to attend the dinner portion of the event only. Several sponsorship packages are available for local businesses, featuring ad space on printed materials like tee boxes and event programs, and signage space on golf carts, on the beverage cart and at the cocktail hour and dinner. Sponsorship prices range from $50 to $2,500.
Check-in will begin at 12:30 p.m., and tee time is 1:30 p.m. For those attending the dinner portion of the event, cocktails begin at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be at 6 p.m.
