Minooka planning commission amends zoning texts

The village of Minooka Planning and Zoning Commission met March 14 to amend zoning texts.

provisions which will permit “Accessory Poultry Husbandry” as a permitted accessory use in

R1, R1A, and R2 zoning districts, subject to certain requirements and restrictions.

 Case# 2017-01: a variance from Village Ordinance regarding pylon sign height limitations to

install a pylon sign from 35 feet tall up to 65 feet tall on property; Lots 2, 3 (except for the

east 30 feet) and that part of lot 4, all in the Ridge Road Commercial Subdivision (except for

that part of lot 4), being a subdivision of part of the northeast quarter of section 2, township

34 north, range 8 east of the third principal meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded

august 8, 2005 as documents #446889, in plat cabinet h, at page 89 along with certificate of

correction recorded July 8, 2005 as document #450458; in Grundy County, Illinois.
