Tinley Park Committee of the Whole hears public comments

The village of Tinley Park Committee of the Whole met Feb. 7 to hear public comments.

Here is the meeting's agenda, as provided by the committee:

"The Committee of the Whole is a device in which a legislative body or other deliberative assembly is considered one large committee. All members of the legislative body are members of such a committee. This is usually done for the purposes of discussion and debate on a variety of issues. "

OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

A Special Meeting of the Committee of the Whole is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, 2017, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers Village Hall of Tinley Park 16250 S. Oak Park Avenue Tinley Park, Illinois

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Committee of the Whole Meeting of the Village of Tinley Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Village Hall of Tinley Park 16250 S. Oak Park Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois 60477.

The agenda is as follows:

1. OPEN THE MEETING

2. ADJOURN TO EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS:

A. THE APPOINTMENT, EMPLOYMENT, COMPENSATION, DISCIPLINE,

PERFORMANCE, OR DISMISSAL OF SPECIFIC EMPLOYEES OF THE PUBLIC BODY OR LEGAL COUNSEL FOR THE PUBLIC BODY, INCLUDING HEARING TESTIMONY ON A COMPLAINT LODGED AGAINST AN EMPLOYEE OF THE PUBLIC BODY OR AGAINST LEGAL COUNSEL FOR THE PUBLIC BODY TO DETERMINE ITS VALIDITY.

3. RECEIVE COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC.
