Chicago Bears Youth Football Camp heads to Naperville on July 25-28
The storied NFL franchise, the Chicago Bears, relishes working with youth and giving back to the community.
This time, they're running two months of summer camps for children from the ages of 6 to 14. This includes 25 stops in several different cities. The final stop on this tour is in Naperville on July 25-28.
The event will take place in Commissioners Park on 111th Street, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. This gives interested children the chance to get safe, non-contact advice from certified professional coaches. Several current and former Chicago Bears players will be interacting as well, such as Rashied Davis, Kris Haines, Jason McKie, Jim Morrissey, Adrian Peterson and Mickey Pruitt. There will be tournaments, games and prizes to go along with tips and skill challenges. The goal is to provide football knowledge and life coaching to young minds in a pressure-free environment.
The kids attending also get an invite to the family football challenge, as well as a free Chicago Bears rookie card. Championship Friday also allows them to win awards for their competitions. The coupon code "PlayFootball30" gets applicants $30 off. Half-day camps cost $229 with the code, while full camps run $389.
