The City of Joliet's Communication, Technology & Information Systems Committee is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Joliet City Hall, located at 150 West Jefferson Street.

The agenda includes the approval of minutes from the previous committee meeting held on August 6, 2025. Citizens who cannot attend in person are invited to submit comments ahead of time by emailing publiccomment@joliet.gov.

During the meeting, there will be opportunities for citizens to speak about items on the agenda. Each speaker will have a maximum of four minutes. According to city procedures, this is not a question and answer period and staff or committee members typically do not respond to public comments during this section. "Speakers who engage in conduct injurious to the harmony of the meeting shall be called to order by the Presiding Officer and may forfeit the opportunity to speak," as stated in official guidelines.

Key items up for discussion include several contract awards:

- A contract with Avolve Software for ProjectDox SaaS renewal valued at $41,400.

- Two contracts with Heartland Business Systems: one for implementing Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and three years of ISE subscription and support; another for document scanning services for 2025/2026 amounting to $100,000.

- A contract with RTA for Fleet360 fleet management software and implementation services totaling $75,776.72.

- An agreement with VertiGIS North America for VertiGIS Studio Enterprise Edition under a three-year ELA agreement worth $109,440.

There will also be sections dedicated to new or old business not requiring final action or recommendation and an additional public comment period focused on non-agenda items.
