Eric A. Westlund, 78, passed away peacefully at his home in Mokena on September 12, 2025. Survived by his wife Cheryl, children Kari, Joril, Bjorn, grandchildren, and extended family, Eric was a dedicated member of Lodge #810 in Tinley Park and Local 17 Heat & Frost Insulators in Chicago. Family and friends can pay their respects at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Frankfort, Illinois, on September 17, 2025. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ on September 18, 2025, followed by a lunch reception at Balagio in Mokena. Interment will be private at Mount Emblem Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
