Lockport - Age 88, late of Lockport, Phillip E. Bocinsky passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. He retired from ComEd in 1995 after many years of dedicated service. An avid golfer, fisherman, and hunter, these outdoor pursuits brought him immense joy. Phillip was also a member of the Downers Grove Moose Lodge #1535. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Svolba, his parents John and Agnes Bocinsky (Nee Novak), and his siblings Buddy, Leroy, Evelyn, Arlene, LaVerne, Sandy, Donald, Richard, and Agnes “Curly”.

Phillip is survived by his devoted children, Phillip (late Kimberly) Bocinsky and Laura Svolba, his adored grandson Phillip John Bocinsky, and one brother, Joe (Marlene) Bocinsky. He also leaves behind numerous family members and dear friends.

Private family services and entombment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
