Larry E. Hamlin, 67, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away on September 8, 2025. Born and raised in Kentucky, Larry spent much of his life in Illinois, where he worked, raised his family, and developed enduring friendships. He returned to Kentucky later in life to care for his parents, showcasing his loyalty, kindness, and dedication to family.

Larry was known for his sense of humor, generosity, and kind heart. He was a devoted father and a proud grandfather, finding his greatest joy in his family. His daughters remember him as a loving father and a source of unwavering support. To his six grandchildren, Larry was a hero, a best friend, and a central figure in their lives.

In addition to his daughters and grandchildren, Larry is survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Brady Hamlin.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held on September 16, 2025, at Hickey Memorial Chapel in New Lenox, Illinois. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather to share stories and honor Larry's memory.
