The City of Crest Hill has announced that ComEd will conduct scheduled vegetation management along electric transmission corridors in the area during October, November, and December. The work is part of routine efforts to maintain the reliability of electrical service and public safety.

According to the city, ComEd owns or holds rights allowing it to perform vegetation management within these transmission corridors. The specific areas affected include Theodore Street west of Larkin north to Root Street, then east to the DesPlaines River, as well as Grandview and Root north then northwest along railroad tracks.
