Lockport - Michael R. Finazzo, known to many as "Mike", passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the age of 83. A proud United States Korean War Army Veteran, Finazzo was a resident of Lockport for the past eight years. He was known for his love of sports and coaching his son's football team. His grandchildren brought him great joy throughout his life.

Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Finazzo, his daughter Joanne Cygan, and several family members, Finazzo is survived by his children, grandchildren, brother, and other cherished family members and friends.

Cremation rites were respectfully handled and private services at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood will be held at a later date to honor Michael R. Finazzo's memory.
