Joseph Jude Rottman, aged 77, of Mokena, Illinois, passed away on August 14, 2025. Born on January 30, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to Grover and Helen Rottman, Joe was known for his exceptional kindness, unwavering dedication to family, and enthusiasm for life.

Devoted to his Catholic faith, Joe shared 31 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Bobbie K. Rottman, creating a life brimming with adventure and exploration.

As a cherished father and grandfather, he was a pillar of love and support for his family. Survived by daughter Jennifer A. (Charlie) Mifflin with grandchildren Peter and Gigi, son Joseph G. (Kate) Rottman with grandchildren JB and Will, and Bobbie's children Natalie (Dennis) Dowling with grandchildren Justin and Jack, and son, Rob Zelesko.

In addition to his loving and caring nature, Joe was a source of humor, curiosity, and tireless industry. With a sharp wit, a penchant for irony, and a poet's heart, he found joy in lifting the spirits of those around him, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate to know him. His warm smile and gentle spirit will be deeply missed.

Joe is also survived by his sisters, Mary Rose Rottman and Barb (Rottman) Rusnak, and his grandchildren.

Funeral services have been held, with Joe laid to rest at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park, IL.

As a tribute to Joe's memory, the family requests donations be made in his honor to Lightways Hospice, a tribute to his enduring legacy.

Though Joe may no longer be with us, we find solace in knowing he now watches over us as an angel from above.
