Frankfort Man, 86, Dies at Thrive of Fox Valley

Ralph A. Eisenbrandt, 86, of Frankfort, IL, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Thrive of Fox Valley in Aurora. Survived by his children: Wendy (James) Rinke, AnnKaryn (Ronald) Bettenhausen, Paul (Kris) Eisenbrandt; grandchildren: Erin, Jamie, Kylee, Elizabeth, Max, Amber, Zowee, Steeler; great-grandchildren: David, Evan, Ivy-Lou; sister Vivienne Ellis; niece Cathy, and her husband David Dutro. Preceded in death by his parents Victor & Minnie Eisenbrandt (Carlson), brother Melvin Eisenbrandt, brother-in-law Gene Ellis, and sister-in-law Gladys Eisenbrandt.

Ralph was a member and Sunday School Teacher at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, a former Deputy Chief of the Frankfort Fire Department, and retired from Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad after 44 years. He was the founding President of the Frankfort Area Historical Society and 911 Coordinator for Will County.

Visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in Frankfort on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Friday, August 22, 2025, at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Frankfort Township Cemetery.
