Plainfield, IL - Brian Scott Drafke, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 8, 2025. He was a hard-working, honest, and supportive family-oriented man who expressed his love in his unique way. Brian enjoyed drag racing with his youngest daughter Madison and wife Nicole, as well as racing motorcycles and building race cars in his spare time. Racing was his true passion. He also enjoyed playing bucket golf with his eldest daughter, Alexus, her fiancée Aaron, and the neighborhood Club Car group.

Brian dedicated over 25 years of his life to Metropolitan Industries, where he fostered relationships that evolved into lasting friendships. Described as a "jack-of-all-trades," Brian was valued for his ability to tackle any task. He cherished the friendships he formed throughout his time at Metropolitan.

Brian is survived by his devoted wife Nicole, cherished daughters Alexus and Madison, treasured granddaughter Aubree, parents Bernard and Deborah, mother-in-law Fannie, father-in-law Bill, father-in-law Gary Weinshenker, sister Victoria, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Gary Weinshenker Jr.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544. In lieu of flowers, donations to help pay for his service are kindly requested.
