Susan Rosalie Mezykowski (née Pistone), aged 83, of Frankfort, Illinois, formerly of West Haven, Connecticut, passed away on August 20, 2025, embraced by her Lord and Savior.

She was the loving mother of Linda (Joe) Yarish and Angela (Craig) Ashley, and the proud grandmother of Shane Lang, Dustin (Nadia) Ruby, Erik (Ashley) Yarish, Grace (Marty) Fogarty, and Sloan Ashley. Susan found immense joy as the cherished great-grandmother of eleven. She will be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Born in New Haven, Susan attended St. Mary's High School, carrying joy in her heart and a commitment to prayer. An integral part of Grace Fellowship Church in Mokena, serving as church secretary for many years, Susan's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She often expressed her gratitude, noting that she felt "blessed."

Susan's passions included crocheting and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. However, her greatest happiness stemmed from the time spent with her family and the love shared with her dear ones.
