Lynnsey "Lynn" Jean Jencon | R W Patterson Funeral Homes & Crematory

Lynnsey Jean Jencon, age 72, of Braidwood, IL, passed away on August 19, 2025, at her home. She was born on June 4, 1953, and was raised in New Lenox. Lynnsey is survived by her sister, nephews, nieces, great-nieces, beloved partner Gloria Valdez DeLeon, and cherished pets Daisy and Gidget.

Lynnsey pursued an avid love for learning, traveling, and adventure, enjoying pursuits like scuba diving, flying lessons, and reading. She dedicated 28 years of service in law enforcement with the Will County Sheriff's Office and remained active with the Braceville United Methodist Church post-retirement.

A memorial visitation will be held at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory on August 28, 2025, with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to animal shelters are encouraged. Lynnsey will be fondly remembered for her dedication, compassion, and love for her family, friends, and animals.
