The Police Department has announced the availability of ten cleanup and sanitation kits for residents affected by water damage from heavy rainstorms between August 17 and 19, 2025. The kits were provided by the Will County Emergency Management Agency and are available at no cost to citizens.
Distribution will be on a first come, first served basis. Those in need of a kit are asked to contact the Police Department at (815) 741-5111 before visiting in person.
These efforts aim to assist residents with remediation following recent severe weather.
