Severe storms over the past weekend have caused significant disruption in Will County, resulting in flooding, downed trees, power outages, and blocked roads. Both homes and businesses across the area have reported damage of varying levels.
In response to these events, the Will County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has initiated a survey to assess storm-related damages experienced between August 17 and 19. The agency aims to gather information on impacts to private property, commercial establishments, and public infrastructure.
Residents and business owners are being asked to participate in the survey to support a thorough evaluation of local needs and inform recovery planning. The survey is available online at https://www.willcountyema.org/storm.
