Helen L. Sloan, 84, of Braidwood, IL, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Sloan and the loving mother of Katherine, Timothy, Ricky, David, and Susan. Helen was a devoted grandmother of 12, a great-grandmother of 16, and a fond sister of Nadine.

Mrs. Sloan was preceded in death by her grandchildren Bradley and Kyle, as well as numerous brothers and sisters. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield, IL, with a chapel service at 7:00 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded and she will be inurned at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
