Robert Deau, known to his loved ones as Bob, an enthusiastic golfer, bowler, and hockey player, passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2025. He is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughter Rachel, grandchildren Isabella and Luke, sister Sharon, and brother-in-law Price. Robert's parents, Emil and Mildred Deau, preceded him in death.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 1-5 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield, IL, followed by a prayer service. A church service is scheduled for August 14 at St Joseph in Rockdale at 10:30 a.m., with inurnment and military honors to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
