Frankfort - G. John Tevere, aged 79, of Frankfort, IL, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 2, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith Tevere, and their children Valerie, Ginny, Jacqueline, and Matthew, along with his beloved grandchildren.

John was a devoted husband, caring father, and cherished Tata. A loyal Chicago Cubs fan, he was multi-talented as a business owner, handyman, and world traveler. He took pride in his Sicilian-American heritage, excelling as a home cook and baker. In retirement, his passion for painting allowed him to create art inspired by family moments.

Known for his infectious laugh and warm smile, John will be deeply missed by his family and friends from various parts of the country. The visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in Frankfort on Friday, August 8, 2025. The Funeral Services will follow on Saturday, August 9, 2025, with interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
