The New Orleans North Music Festival is set to return to downtown Joliet on August 15, 2025. The event will take place at the Joliet Slammers Stadium from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is open to adults aged 21 and over.
This festival aims to bring elements of New Orleans culture to Joliet, including live music, food, and drinks. There will be four areas dedicated to live entertainment. The main stage will feature Zydeco Voodoo as the headline act, along with performances by Chicago Blues Angels and the 3rd City Brass Band. Thompson’s Tap stage will host the Righteous Hillbillies, Dan Dougherty Band, and Sam Burns & Friends. Hookah Alley will have the Jib Brothers Band performing classic cover songs in three-part harmonies. An acoustic stage will present a rotating lineup of solo artists and duos, ending with Tyrone 'DJ T Bone' Simmons mixing hip hop, R&B, and party anthems.
Attendees can expect New Orleans-style cocktails such as the Hurricane, served in souvenir cups for the first 2,000 purchases. Abita Purple Haze beer from Louisiana will be available alongside domestic cans and various food vendors offering Cajun dishes, lobster rolls, pizza, and more. The festival also includes street performers like stilt walkers and magicians as well as an Artist Row featuring local creators’ work for sale.
Tickets are available through the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry at www.neworleansnorthjoliet.com for $10 in advance. Prices increase to $20 per ticket 24 hours before gates open and remain $20 at the gate.
