According to the notice, "Pursuant to Section 2.02 of the Open Meetings Act 5 (5 ILCS 120/1 et seq.), notice is hereby given that the following meeting is cancelled due to lack of agenda: Monday, August 11, 2025, Board of Fire and Police Commissioners Regular Meeting at 5:00 p.m."
The Open Meetings Act requires public bodies in Illinois to provide advance notice when meetings are canceled or rescheduled.
