Edward J. Havlicek Jr., age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2025, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his children Barbara (the late Thomas) Baudo, Sharon (Joseph) Stachon, and James Havlicek, along with his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edward was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, children Theresa (Lou) Sisto and Edward Havlicek, parents Edward and Marie Havlicek, and siblings James Havlicek, Maryann Zirgaitis, and Theresa Jotka. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 3-8 pm at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, August 4, 2025, at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Romeoville, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL. Edward will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.
