Chair Dan Waddick congratulated the committee on getting this far and reminded the committee why we do this – for the community, for the joy and fun that families and friends get to experience. Food has landed. We are working on the stage. Two things to point out – the HEAT. Stay hydrated. Hospitality room will have food and beverages there all day. If you are feeling lightheaded you are already dehydrated, so remember to stay cool. Director Kus added that EMA has a trailer to cool off in if anyone wants to come by, they are welcome at any time. LOST CHILD – Lt. Piazza reminded all that if there is a lost child to contact the police immediately – do not turn the child over to any person and do not move the child. Sheriffs department will handle it.

Director Kus said anyone who wants a radio we are handing it out at 3 p.m.

Dave Bricker gave an update on fireworks. There was a slight chance of rain, so if it looks like it will come they may start the fireworks a little early or a little late, but otherwise everything looks good.

Member Drabik shared that the alcohol is being loaded now. If anyone sees someone who looks like they’ve had too much to drink, call Tony and he can handle it.

Parks – garbage is all set. If garbage cans are moved, let Parks know so they can move them back into place.

Member Gawron reminded Director Vittori to install the ADA ramp. Director Frossard reminded all to come to him if there are any electrical issues.

Village Manager Baber thanked the committee for everything that the committee does and has done.

Member Carlson asked if he could have a police officer at the stage on Friday and Saturday night to help with the crowds.

Chair Waddick – a few reminders, there are going to be external speakers outside the tent and in the field during the fireworks show. Kiddie rides are in the field and all set up. The beer tickets went up to $7. Golf carts come to corral every night. Put the keys in the ticket booth and it will be locked up overnight. We are going to have our next meeting on July 8th so we can recap.
