William Joseph Muhr, known as Bill, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL. He was 79 years old and was survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna, and their three sons, Kevin, Kristopher, and Kenneth. Bill was a beloved grandfather to Tyler, Dean, Kyle, Ryan, Justin, Olivia, Kendyl, and Kaden. He is also survived by his sister, Janice.

Bill, a graduate of Mendel Catholic High School and the University of Illinois (Chicago), earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. With pharmacies in Alsip, Beverly, and Evergreen Park, and work experience at Osco, Bill dedicated his career to pharmacy. He was also part-owner of the family's sandblasting business, The Master Blasters.

A fan of Jeopardy and Chicago sports teams, Bill enjoyed sharing his trademark "Dad" jokes with loved ones. In honor of his memory, donations to P.A.W.S. Tinley Park are appreciated. Following his wishes, cremation will be followed by a private family service.

To honor William Joseph Muhr, contributions can be made to P.A.W.S. Tinley Park at www.pawstinleypark.org.
