Norma Rivera, born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, on September 26, 1935, cherished her family, faith, and life's blessings. After moving to Indiana in 1951 and then to Chicago where she met and married Carlos, the couple built a beautiful life together. Their family grew to include daughters Wendy, Yolanda, and Norma Jean, bringing immense joy and love. Norma and Carlos devoted themselves to providing for their family, each working over 35 years at Nabisco.

Norma's retirement brought her back to Puerto Rico with precious family moments alongside her grandchildren. Following Carlos's passing, Norma embraced the love of her family and great joy in her three adored great-grandchildren, Giovani Carlos, Joaquin Andres, and Adalynn Yolanda. Norma's life was filled with love, care, and an abundance of cherished moments shared with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

As Norma's journey concludes, she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to her family. While her presence will be deeply missed, her life's completeness brings solace. In her peaceful rest, Norma reunites with her beloved husband and family, embraced by eternal peace. Though her passing leaves a void in the family, her memory and spirit will continue to shine brightly.

A visitation for Norma Rivera will be held on July 17, 2025, at Anderson-Gooddale Memorial Home in Plainfield from 4-8 P.M., with a Funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church in Plainfield the following day. Her interment will be at St. Mary Church Cemetery, marking her final resting place. May she rest in peace.
