Work has progressed on the Chicago Street corridor with significant developments reported. As of July 19th, brick paver placements continue, and crosswalks at Chicago Street and Cass are now complete and open.

For the week of July 21st, several tasks are scheduled. Fencing along the sidewalks on Chicago Street will be removed once brick pavers are installed. The remaining water supply and ground hydrants will be installed in City Square. Electrical work in front of the Library and within City Square is set to continue, alongside the erection of four shade structures in City Square.

Brick pavers are being placed between planters, bollards, and streetlight foundations. Electrical work in the family stage and gathering area is ongoing. The roadway and sidewalk improvement work at the intersection of Chicago Street and Cass is now complete.
