Sharon Lee Derby, aged 81, formerly of Mazon, IL, and recently of Largo, FL, passed away on June 27, 2025, at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. She is survived by her sons, stepsons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as her cousin, Maureen Tambling, and niece, Tanya Johnson.

Sharon, born on April 18, 1944, enjoyed her hobbies of caring for her home and yard, spending time with her horses and dogs, and social outings. She was an active member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in South Wilmington and the Red Hat Society.

Visitation will be held at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory in Braidwood, IL, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, with funeral services following at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Campus, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grundy County Humane Society.
