Former Plainfield East High School standout Amanda Strzyzewski played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Plainfield East High School standout Amanda Strzyzewski’s current collegiate team the Wartburg Knights lost 0-8 against the Redlands Bulldogs in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at WashU Softball Field at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Redlands Bulldogs in the tournament.

The Wartburg Knights’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 1:30 p.m. at WashU Softball Field.
