David Lee Murphy | R W Patterson Funeral Homes & Crematory
David Lee Murphy, 62, of Dwight, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. He was born on September 24, 1962, in Kankakee, IL, to the late Billy Junior and Virginia Murphy. David shared a beautiful partnership with his wife Janice for 43 years. He dedicated his life to truck driving and public service with the Dwight Fire Department and Livingston County Coroner’s Office. David enjoyed outdoor activities, following the Chicago Cubs, and attending his granddaughters' events. He leaves a legacy of love and lasting friendships. Survived by his wife Janice, daughters Liz Pavlick and Amanda Murphy, granddaughters Cadence and Megan, and extended family and friends. Memorial visitation and service to be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at New Life Assembly of God. Cremation rites accorded. Donations in memory of David may be directed to his family.
