Sunday, Feb. 23: Lincoln-Way Central High School standout Carly Alvers’ college team wins to UMass Minutewomen

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Lincoln-Way Central High School standout Carly Alvers’ current college team, the DePaul Blue Demons, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UMass Minutewomen.

The game took place at Boseman Field. This was their first matchup against the Minutewomen this season.

The Blue Demons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 12 p.m. at Debbie & Fred Pruitt Softball Complex against Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers.
