On Thursday, May 8, former Providence Catholic High School standout Gianna Russo collegiate team wins in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Thursday, May 8, former Providence Catholic High School standout Gianna Russo’s current collegiate team the Nova Southeastern Sharks won 2-1 against the Barry Buccaneers in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field at 3 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Barry Buccaneers in the tournament.

The Nova Southeastern Sharks’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 12 p.m. at Naimoli Family Softball Field.
